Artist's Note.
평범한 일상 속 모든 순간을 특별하게 기억할 수 있게 해 준
고마운 존재, 그 존재가 나에겐 반려견이다.
나이도 직업도 외모도 그 어떤 것도 이 아이들에겐 중요하지 않다.
그저 나와 함께하는 이 순간의 소중함을 알고 있을 뿐이다.
때로는 가장 친한 친구처럼 때로는 듬직한 어른처럼
때로는 세상 가장 순수한 아이의 모습으로 내 곁에 있어준다.
하지만 많은 반려동물들의 삶이 여전히 불안하고 위태로운 경우가 많다.
오직 사람에 의해서 생과 사가, 행복과 불행이 결정되는 녀석들의 삶이
나의 캔버스 안에서만큼은 불안과 두려움 없이 행복한 주인공으로 만들어 주고 싶다.
이 세상에서 나보다 나를 더 사랑해 주는.. 너무나 많은 것을 내어주는 그들을 보며
모든 생명은 동등하고 귀하며 아름답다는 걸 얘기해 주고 싶다.
많은 반려견 반려묘 그리고 지구상 모든 동물들이 하나의 생명체로
보호받고 더 존중받는 세상이 오길 바란다.
우리와 같은 감정을 느끼고 당신만을 바라보고 사랑하는 것이
삶의 전부인 이 아이들을 조금만 더 소중하게 생각해 주면 좋겠다.
일상 속 작은 순간들마저 반짝이게 해 준 모든 반려동물들의 삶을 응원한다.

The presence that makes every moment in my ordinary daily life feel special For me, that presence is my companion dog.
Age, profession, appearance none of these matter to them.
They simply cherish the preciousness of the moment they spend with me.
Sometimes, they are like my best friend, at other times, a dependable guardian.
And sometimes, they stay by my side with the purest heart, like an innocent child.
However, the lives of many companion animals still remain uncertain and precarious.
Their fate life and death, happiness and suffering is determined solely by humans.
At least within the world of my canvas, I want to make them the happy protagonists, free from fear and anxiety.
Seeing these beings who love me more than I love myself, who give so much without expecting anything in return,
I want to remind the world that all lives are equal, precious, and beautiful.
I hope for a future where all companion dogs, companion cats, and every living creature on this planet
are protected and respected as fellow beings.
These animals, who feel emotions just like we do, who live their entire lives looking at you and loving you,
deserve to be cherished just a little more.
I support the lives of all companion animals,
who make even the smallest moments in our daily lives shine.
