Artist's Note.

‘꿈꾸는 낙타’ 시리즈 

낙타는 현대인을 상징해요. 낙타의 ‘혹’은 현대인이 짊어지고 있는 ‘짐’이자 우리에게 주어진 책임감(자식 등 포기할 수 없는 대상)을 상징하죠.

하지만 낙타의 혹은 곧 낙타가 사막에서 살아남을 수 있는 ‘생명수’예요. 우리가 짊어지고 있는 짐은 각자의 난관인 동시에 우리가 ‘살아가는 이유’가 될 수 있어요.

이 각박한 세상, 사막에서 희망을 찾아떠나는 낙타는, 눈을 감고 꿈을 꿉니다. 순간 황량한 사막이 아름답게 바뀌고, 걸어가는 앞날도 화려하게 변하게 되죠.

이렇게 우리는 같은 상황을 가지고 어떻게 생각하느냐에 따라 모든것은 달라질수 있다고 믿습니다

Dreaming Camel Series

Camels represent modern people. The hump of camels represents the responsibility given to us. But the hump of a camel is a life water that camels can survive in the desert. The burdens of us can be the reason for our lives at the same time.

In this harsh world, camels leave in search of hope in the desert. They close their eyes and dream. In a moment, the harsh turns beautiful and the walking future changes spectacularly. So we believe that everything can be different depending on how we think about the same situation.
