조니보이의 작품의 주제는 “Love and be loved”로서, 사랑을 주고받는 감정을 캐릭터와 세계관을 통해 표현하고 있다.
작가의 그림은 기존에 있던 유명한 대중문화 이미지를 “사랑화”하여 팜아트적으로 유머러스하게 재해석한다.
사랑을 긍정적 펜데믹이라고 생각하여 본인의 긍정적인 에너지를 전하면 그 긍정적 에너지가 2,3차 혹은 무한정으로 뻗어나갈 수 있다는 힘을 표현하고 있다.

The theme of Johnny Boy's work is "Love and be loved," which expresses the feeling of giving and receiving love through characters and worldviews.
The artist's paintings "love" existing famous pop culture images and reinterpret them humorously in palm art.
It expresses the power that if you think of love as a positive pandemic and convey your positive energy, the positive energy can extend second, third, or indefinitely.
