Artist's Note.
작가는 MZ세대를 대표하는 작품을 그립니다. 주로, 사회현상, 패러디, 우리들 삶의 일부가 된 모든 매체를 네오팝 아트 형식을 빌려서 그림을 그립니다.
작가의 이름처럼 진솔한 아트를 그리자는 신념을 갖고 있기에 우리들 세대가 향유한 모든 문화를 그립니다.
그렇기 때문에 직관적이며 솔직하며, 유쾌한 특징을 가집니다. 작가의 작품 키워드는 돈,행운 그리고 성공입니다. 작가는 비가 오면 물이 새고, 쥐와 바퀴벌레가 나오는 반지하에 살았습니다.
4살때, 그림을 배우고 싶었으나, 돈의 부재로 인해 배우지 못했습니다. 어머니께서는 그러한 사실을 아시고, 벽 한 켠을 내주시면서, 그 벽에다가 낙서를 한 것이 그림에 대한 첫경험이었습니다.
작가는 돈으로 인해 발생하는 이런 상황에 빠진 분들에 대해 안타까워하고 있습니다. 어떤 것을 배우고 싶으나, 돈의 부재로 배우지 못하는 분들을 위한 것이 무엇인지 찾게 되었습니다.
고민 끝에, 그림을 통해 그 분들에게 긍정적인 영향을 드리고 싶었습니다.
작가는 돈과 행운을 부르는 행운화를 네오팝아트 장르로 풀어 나가고 있습니다. 새로운 팝아트를 의미하는 네오팝 장르를 통해, 겉으로 보기에는 직관적이고
유쾌해보이지만 내면에는 많은 뜻을 담고있는 작업 방식을 추구하고 있습니다. 미국과 일본의 카툰화스타일과 한국인의 정체성을 담은 작가만의 독특한 그림체는
기존 미술시장에서 볼 수 없는 독특한 느낌을 선사합니다. 4살 때 부터벽에 낙서를 하며 작가의 꿈을 키워온 작가는, 돈으로 인해 발생하는 불평등한 사회적 문제에 대한 고민에 빠집니다.
돈이 긍정적으로쓰이면좋은 영향력을 발휘할 수 있다고 생각하며, 행운, 성공, 부, 돈, 희망, 꿈의 상징을 작품 안에
담아내고 있습니다. 작가는 자신의 아바타인 머니-미(Money-Me)캐릭터를 통해 자본주의· 명품·힙합·패션·카툰·패러디의 요소를 적절히 활용해 작품세계를 펼쳐 나갑니다.
이를 통해, 많은 사람들에게 좋은 영감과 긍정적인 에너지를 주고자 합니다.
작품 속의 화자인 머니-미(Money-Me)는 사회현상에 나타나는 모든 것들을 자신만의 색깔로 분장을 합니다. 매번 머니-미가 어떤 모습으로 변장하고 있을지 유추해 보는 것도 작품을 보는 ‘재미’ 중의 하나입니다.
또한, 머니-미의 모습은 장난꾸러기 소년·소녀이며, 이는 대부분의 사람들이 어렸을 적 아무 걱정없이 살았던 달콤한 추억을 대변합니다.
이를 계기로 돈과 행운을 부르는 행운화가 탄생되었으며, 이를 통해 많은 분들(또는 돈의 부재로 어려움을 겪는 사람들)에게 돈과 행운을 가져다 줄 것이라 생각합니다.

The artist draws works that represent the MZ generation, mostly social phenomena, parodies, and all the media that have become part of our lives, borrowing neo-pop art forms.
Like the artist's name, I have a belief in painting honest art, so I draw all the cultures that our generation has enjoyed.
This is why it has intuitive, honest, and pleasant features. The artist's keywords are money, luck, and success. He lived in a semi-basement area where rain leaks, and mice and cockroaches come out.
At four, I wanted to learn painting, but I couldn't due to the lack of money. My mother knew that and scribbled on it, giving me a side of the wall, which was my first experience with painting.
The artist is sorry for those who have fallen into this situation caused by money. For those of you who want to learn something, but can't because of the lack of money, I've come to find out what it's for.
After thinking about it, I wanted to have a positive impact on them through painting.

He is using his avatar, Money-Me, to showcase his works by fully utilizing elements of capitalism, luxury goods, hip-hop, fashion, cartoons, and parody.
Through this, we want to give good inspiration and positive energy to many people.
Money-Me, the narrator in the work, dresses up everything that appears in social phenomena in his own color. It is one of the "fun" to see the work to infer how Money-Me is dressed up every time.
Also, Money-Me's appearance is a naughty boy and girl, representing sweet memories that most people lived carelessly when they were young.
This led to the creation of a lucky painting that calls for money and luck, which I think will bring money and luck to many people (or people who suffer from lack of money).
